Although I would probably like to have a career in physics, my career choice is still not rigid. The subjects I am most interested in are physics and chemistry.

A kindergartener in lockdown

While visiting her grandparents in Jaipur, the government announced a nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In her free time, Aanya likes to write short stories.

Far out in the sea where the water is very deep, the Sea King ruled the undersea world. In the deepest spot of the sea was his castle. The walls were made of blue coral. On the roof there were shells that opened and closed when the water passed by. That's where the Sea King lived with his mother and four daughters, each one born a year apart.

My artistic inspiration

Rucha Rathod was born and brought up in Ahmedabad. She attended Firdaus Amrut School. In 2019 she graduated from Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology as a civil engineer.

Rucha has many and varied interests. She’s a top class table tennis player. She has participated in many school and college level co-curricular and extracurricular activities like debates, swimming, skating etc. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer.

Rucha loves to be close to nature and often accompanies her father to observe flora and fauna in their natural pristine beauty.

Rucha also loves to draw paint and sketch. Her skills at sketching are being showcased in this story.

Everyone has a passion for something in their life that motivates or inspires them in some way.

Since I was a little girl I always liked to make drawings, sketching, paintings, and reading books. Apart from this I was passionate about Sport as well. My dad used to bring the best of the books for my summer vacations, in order to sharpen my skills and invest my time in some productive things, rather than just playing video-games.

V Day 2004

Rakshat Hooja lives in Jaipur. In his early forties, he is still trying to figure out what to do in life. He loves watching sports, reading and discussing politics.

 

My maternal grandfather, Shri Khem Chand ji, passed away on 14th Feb 2004.

He lived well into his 90s.We grand kids had a great time 'hanging' out with him for over 20 odd years. Now, it has been quite a few years since Nanaji's death.
